About Me
I have extensive experience working as an independent educational consultant, helping both US and international students with the college application process from start to finish. I recently relocated to the south shore of Boston, having previously lived and consulted in the Washington, DC-area, as well as London, England. I enjoy volunteering with the Sutton Trust Program in connection with the Fulbright Association and the Trinity College Admissions Office. I am an active Professional member of IECA and have my Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.
After I received a B.A. in Sociology from Trinity College in Connecticut and a J.D. at The Catholic University Columbus School of Law, I spent several years working as a family law and special education attorney. I then served as Assistant Director of the Office of Career and Professional Development at Catholic University Law School, where I worked closely with students to create a tailored approach to their job search and interview strategy.
Utilizing my legal and counseling background, I advise and educate individuals to navigate complex issues and decisions.

My Services
I help students and families navigate the college search and selection process from start to finish. This includes
- Listening
- Planning curriculum, standardized testing, and extracurricular activities
- Evaluating students' transcripts, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, special talents, and extenuating circumstances as they relate to the admission process
- Creating balanced lists of colleges, taking students' needs, wants, priorities, and values into consideration
- Assisting with and finalizing college applications and essays, including content brainstorming sessions, critique, and proofreading
- Offering support and structure for the student, including organizational assistance, time and stress management, and application strategies
- Preparing for college visits, tours, and interviews
